AWESOME Kone Traction Elevators at the Hotel Emporio, Ixtapa, Mexico

Exterior Building Picture: www.flickr.com This appears to be an older hotel, so I think that these elevators were completely replaced. They have custom cabs, dual button panels and floor indicators with additional lcd indicators, and tall ceilings. And to top it all off, European KSS fixtures. Unfortunately, they were cleaning the elevators while I was filming so my video isn’t very good.
KONE did an great job on this elevator.
Hmm. I might’ve missed that…
One way to make sure elevators don’t get vandalized, have attendants ride in ‘em all day. The way the hotel was designed it would have made a little sense to have those elevators be glass. They were nice, though.

Sounds like they were supposed to come from the hall indicators, but they got disabled.

The elevators are nice, and have a loud motor. At least they are not those old Otii you last showed!
Very nice elevators. I didn’t hear a down chime though.
