My six year old daughter and I are going on a cruise that stops in cozumel. What are the best things to do?

I want something for for her, while also having time to shop and enjoy an authentic mexican meal. We definitely want to spend some time on the beach.

We are going to Mexico with out 9 year old son. Any advice on great things to do by mayan riviera?
