Just turn them upside down and gently push them around.

Depends how many is playing if just two people is playing the two playing stir the dominos back and forth. It makes it easier then one person. Or you could put them all in a bag kinda like you do with the scrabble tiles but that would be a very big bag. But just another way to do. Put one side down the middle the outer two sides thru the outside and then switch and then go around in circle. That’s what we do and we don’t get repeats of the same domino’s with this game.
